2013 Day 3
Day 3, Rolla, Missouri to Joplin, Missouri--------------------------------------------197 miles
Sorry for the late post on Day 3 but day 3 was another great day for weather and just riding. I didn't take to many pictures but we had a Picnic at Gary Turners, Paris Springs, MO after a Police Escort through Springfield, Mo. What a thrill to have major intersections blocked in a city the size of Springfield, Mo because the Ride for the Relay is coming through. I am very humbled.
After the picnic we made our way on Route 66 into the motel in Joplin where the Hilton Garden's manger Chris Byers had a fantastic BBQ and Crazy Legs entertained. This is 6 years that Chris has put on the BBQ and we love him for it.
You will notice a picture of myself, Norm & Alice Mitchel and Gary Turner. Norm and Alice are the only Riders that have rode with me every year and they are All the Way Gang Members in 2007.
