2013 Day 8
Day 8, Acoma, New Mexico to Winslow, Arizona ---------------------------------------------208 miles
Today was a little cooler and that was a break. I think 90 degrees was about the hottest. We started the day with a stop at the Continental Divide then on in to Gallop, NM, We toured the El Rancho Hotel (google it). After the El Rancho we all gathered at Earl's Restaurant for lunch. Leaving Gallop we rode to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest and on to Holbrook, AZ and the Wigwam Motel. After a fuel stop and a few pictures at the Wigwam we headed to Winslow, AZ and stood on the corner, went to the El Posada Hotel for a look around, then to the motel. Check out the pictures.
